Legal secretaries support lawyers in carrying out the clerical and administrative functions. Information Technology (IT) managers have the responsibility of improving the firms computer systems. Other IT positions are occupied by junior employees who oversee the daily operations of the computer system. Proper management of the computer system in a law firm is important because lawyers store their important documents there. The administrator ensures proper connectivity to the network as well as security of confidential information.
